Basic Coleslaw

Makes 4 servings

  • ¼ head green cabbage, diced

  • ¼ head purple cabbage, diced

  • 1 cup shredded carrots

  • 2 tablespoons raw, apple cider vinegar or lemon juice

  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  • ¼ teaspoon dry mustard

  • ¼ teaspoon celery seed

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Combine cabbage and carrot in a large bowl.

  2. Blend remaining ingredients in a blender or using a whisk

  3. Pour dressing over the cabbage and combine well.

  4. Chill in refrigerator.

Note: You can add additional diced veggies for variety.
