Makes 12 servings
2 tablespoons coconut oil
1 onion, diced
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 green bell pepper, diced
2 quarts bone broth
6 cups chicken, cooked and cubed or shredded
1 (16oz) jar sugar-free salsa
3 (14.5oz) cans diced tomatoes
1 (14.5oz) can tomato sauce
2 (15.5oz) cans kidney beans or sugar-free chili beans
2 tablespoons chili powder
2 tablespoons dried parsley
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon sea salt
Instructions
Heat coconut oil in a medium skillet.
Lightly sauté onion, garlic, and green pepper. Place in slow cooker.
Add all remaining ingredients to slow cooker.
Cook for 4 - 6 hours.
